Future Technology Immersive Features

The Joint Security and Resilience Centre (JSaRC) hosted an interactive, content-rich immersive experience which provided visitors with an insight into a future secure journey. The feature focused on showcasing and demonstrating solutions and technology that improve security around pre-journey planning, aviation and travel security and crowded places and infrastructure.

Knife Crime: A 21st Century Approach
The Joint Security and Resilience Centre (JSaRC) collaborated with the Home Office’s Serious Violence Unit and Accelerated Capability Environment to create a live immersive experience that illustrates a blended, preventative approach to tackling Knife Crime. The feature focused on showcasing and demonstrating solutions and technology across data, technology and community engagement.

The Fusion Forum
Brand new to Security & Policing for 2020, the Fusion Forum, was an interactive and accessible ‘theatre’ on the exhibition floor, designed to promote new and integrated ways to delivering security solutions across government, industry and academia. It included a range of exciting new content to incorporate a blend of keynote addresses, fusion panel sessions and live industry challenges.

Thought Leadership Panel & Security Dinner
Security & Policing 2020 saw the second annual Thought Leadership Panel & Security Dinner. The evening began with a thought leadership panel discussion dedicated to the theme of Countering the improper use of Drones and ended with a keynote speech delivered by the Director General of the Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism, Tom Hurd.
