New Product Launch

Special Role Radio

Domo Tactical Communication (DTC) is excited to launch the new Special Role Radio (SRR). Based on DTC’s game-changing SOL8 Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform, the 2 Watt- capable SRR is designed specifically for the requirements of Tactical Battlefield and Special Force applications and can host multiple waveforms and personalities.

The SRR can operate as a Tactical MANET IP Mesh Node, levering DTC’s robust self-forming, self-healing MiMo Mesh technology to provide enhanced situational awareness right where it is needed. As a point to point (P2P) COFDM Transmitter, hosting DTC’s field proven ultra-low latency P2P COFDM waveform. Or, finally, as a P2P COFDM receiver, streaming IP video and GPS position information to a robust tablet PC or soldier-worn terminal.

With feature-rich interfacing capabilities, including HDMI, HD-SDI, analogue video and Ethernet IP, the SRR includes dual-on board HD video encoders, full-duplex headset audio and a built in GPS receiver. Power is provided by industry standard military batteries and the rugged metal enclosure can cope with the harshest of battlefield conditions.
