New Product Launch
Mirage™PVL are delighted to announce the launch of a unique product: Mirage™ thermally reflective marking film at Security and Policing 2018.
Mirage™ offers 24-hour, all weather, asset recognition and identification to enable accurate air to ground surveillance using visible and thermal infrared imaging cameras. It also helps protect against the trojan vehicle threat.
Mirage™ thermal ID film is exclusively available through PVL UK Ltd to official government entities and emergency service departments around the world. It is patent-protected and manufactured under licence from QinetiQ PLC.
Thermal aerial ID markings are specified by the UK Home Office for use on police vehicles and other countries are now adopting this specification to aid situational awareness of their fleet.
Mirage™ thermal identification film markings are unpowered and fitted in the same way as conventional vinyl vehicle roof markings. Mirage™ markings are specifically developed to reflect infrared, therefore helicopter crews with thermal imaging cameras can instantly identify genuine emergency services vehicles, in any weather conditions day or night.
Fleets in the USA and Belgium are specifying Mirage™ for their vehicles and the product has been successfully trialled in many other countries.
PVL will be demonstrating the functionality of Mirage™ thermal film on their stand, C12, for the duration of the Security and Policing show.
