Text analytics software is used throughout the security and intelligence communities including the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and French, German, UAE, Australian, Singapore and Saudi Arabian governments – to support border and national security missions, watch listing screening, identity resolution, and predictive intelligence. Rosette uses machine learning to enable precise searching, name matching, entity extraction and disambiguation and sentiment analysis in languages of greatest interest to national security applications, such as Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Persian (Dari and Farsi), Russian and Urdu. Borders can be significantly strengthened through the use of applications built on Rosette for (1) smarter and faster name matching and watch list screening – particularly across foreign names in different scripts, and (2) to find present/potential/coming dangers near borders and at screening time from diverse data sources.
