The Centre for Emerging Technology and Security (CETaS) is a research centre based at the Alan Turing Institute, the UK’s national institute for data science and artificial intelligence. The Centre’s mission is to strengthen UK security through pioneering research and insights on emerging technologies. CETaS combines pioneering research and unparalleled national security partnerships to help the UK harness technologies responsibly. We help to protect the UK by: enabling innovation; assessing global threats and opportunities; and shaping policy.
