CameraForensics is a new source of information for law enforcement agencies engaging in open-source online investigations that involve imagery. The service was originally developed to help investigators find child victims in online sexual exploitation and abuse cases, but has found wider application in theft, fraud, counter-terrorism and serious and organised crime.Investigators can use CameraForensics to search the open Internet for photographs taken with the same camera as abuse imagery, potentially leading to the owner of a camera. CameraForensics also supports other ways to link images online, including similarity, geographic location, and other metadata, helping to link covert and public personas. In the last year, CameraForensics have crawled, processed and indexed over 1 billion images from the open web.The service is used by LEAs internationally (UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Europe). It has been instrumental in a number of successful child victim rescues. Please speak to us for case-study information.
