The Northamptonshire Joint operations capability & Commad Unit

The UK’s first joint Police & Fire Command Unit & incident Ground Comms project.

Highlights include:

1. a multi-agency facility for tactical advisors and speacilst ops teams, including hostage negotiation.

2. Internal & external briefing facilities and full AV/IT system

3. Resilient Hybrid Network includes satellite, cellular and its own Secure non-terrestrial network.

4. Situational awareness – ability to receive and and securely transmit helicopter downlinks and video from drones, Thermal & Optical cameras (mast mounted & rapid deployment systems), wearable and handheld thermal cameras (including non-line of sight locations).
