At Security & Policing 2021 we invite attendees to join us for a daily open session in the online S&P Networking Lounge to explore how the Government and industry should meaningfully work together in support of strengthening the UK’s national resilience, assisting with the national recovery from the pandemic, and rebuilding to create a more secure and prosperous future.
Attendees can take a break from the programme of content, features and engaging with exhibitors to participate in text-chat and network with other delegates who are interested in like-minded themes and topics. Sessions include:
Tuesday 9 March, 12:15-13:00 – Resilience
This session will explore how the UK’s security and resilience industry is providing leading digital solutions to tackle a rise in cyber-threats towards households, businesses, and national infrastructure as a result of the pandemic. Cyber-security representatives from the Government have been invited to participate.
Wednesday 10 March, 13:15-14:00 – Recovery
This session will explore how the UK’s security and resilience industry can work collaboratively with Government to support the UK’s national recovery from the pandemic through the innovative development of biosecurity technologies, to support with a safe return to work and normal business operations. National resilience representatives from the Government have been invited to participate.
Thursday 11 March, 14:30-15:00 – Rebuild
This session will explore how new technologies from the UK’s security and resilience industry can help to create secure and robust major events, in the context of ongoing social distancing requirements, enabling currently closed sectors to reopen. Technical security representatives from the Government have been invited to participate.
Along with these timed, themed sessions, attendees will also be able to access the General Networking and Introductions lounge to chat and network with other visitors and exhibitors throughout the event.
