PolyCATUK was founded in 2017 in Oxfordshire UK and is a startup focused on advancing the safe and efficient destruction and decontamination of neat bulk chemical warfare agents (CWAs) and other toxic chemicals. Specializing in cutting-edge catalytic technologies, we provide environmentally responsible and scalable solutions to neutralize neat toxic agents swiftly and safely. Our proprietary processes use advanced chemical neutralisation that ensure CWAs and other toxic liquids are broken down into harmless compounds which can be contained to prevent leaving behind dangerous by-products or environmental contamination. In addition, we offer consultancy services, training, and can provide tailored solutions for the safe destruction of legacy chemical weapon stocks.

The original concept was to build sealed systems to integrate with access tools developed by Valent Applications Ltd for “drill, drain, destroy” applications. Further to this, we have broadened the scope of our  delivery systems to include concepts and prototypes for spills, surface contamination, transportation of e.g. munitions and contaminated items, and other scenarios.
