About Explosive Learning Solutions

Founded in 2005, Explosive Learning Solutions Ltd (ELS) is the organisation that has developed extensive experience working as a vocational education and apprenticeship assessment organisation. With roots in the defence sector, its capability has expanded to providing consultancy, courses in professional development and project management, and bespoke courses for both in-person and online audiences. For many years, managed the MOD mandated specialist defence security office management services for many of those firms working into the defence environment under Prime Contractor flowdown Security Aspects Letters (SAL) requirements. A service which ELS are able to further provide to ADS Defence members.

Training Analysis, Design and Delivery Capability

ELS is also the training analysis, design and delivery organisation that has also for many years, delivered defence procurement, supply and contract management training to MOD Commercial staff and a wide range of defence organisations who work with the MOD or are bidding for defence contracts. These training courses include Contract Management, Supplier Sourcing, Contract Negotiation (MOD and Supplier sides), International Procurement and other Programme and Project Management training packages. ELS can provide this knowledge and skills capability to ADS members who are engaged in defence work.

Managed Learning Services (MLS) Provider

ELS provides Managed Learning Services (MLS) multiyear support to a number of medium-sized enterprises. We deliver the software and ELS’ resources support the build of bespoke learning interventions, delivered across the UK and internationally. We are very effective in delivering contextualised learning in either face-to-face, hybrid or virtual learning environments as well as design of bespoke eLearning needs through our in-house Digital Learning Team (DLT). ELS can advise the most appropriate learning approaches that may best fit your organisation.

ELS as an Assessment Organisation

ELS is an independent Assessment Organisation supporting the Apprenticeship environment. ELS awards a number of engineering standards.
