Home Office Biometrics (HOB) manages the biometric systems that support operations across law enforcement organisations and the Home Office, delivering capabilities to establish identity using fingerprint, DNA and facial image data.   With the HOB managed systems holding approximately 120m biometric records, HOB is enabling the UK to capture, authenticate, verify, search and match individuals’ biometrics to solve crime, protect borders, prevent terrorism and enable growth.
