The organisers are committed to creating an inclusive environment, free from any form of discrimination, regardless of race, religion, colour, national origin, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, transgender status, age, disability, veteran or marital status, or any other protected categories under applicable UK law.

To ensure that that those who choose to attend, enjoy and gain the most from their experience, the organisers require those in attendance to be respectful to others visiting the show and at all times. The organiser will assume that those choosing to be present will automatically agree to abide and be bound by this Code of Conduct.

Those failing to comply or expressing an opinion which is deemed to be offensive to others, will be asked to leave the event without any further liability to the organiser.

We ask that everyone

  • Be considerate and patient towards of those around them
  • Be respectful of others and their viewpoints
  • Be mindful of their comments and actions
  • Be mindful of the ‘no photography’ rule at the event, unless you have permission from the event organiser or permission from the person or exhibitor you would like to take a photo of
  • Be respectful of others’ time when using online services to arrange appointments or send meeting links and not to adopt an aggressive or persistent approach if they fail to engage
  • Be aware of the volume of online messages which they send and do not use blanket techniques in a bid to gain attention.

Unacceptable examples of behaviour (of which the following list is not exhaustive)

  • Offensive or unwanted behaviour, language, mannerisms, assumptions or gestures, insinuations, lewd actions or remarks, mimicking or behaviours either individual or in a group which are considered offensive or demeaning toward protected categories under UK law.
  • Visual harassment, such as the use sexual images or offensive language in slide decks or other material intended to be viewed
  • Intimidation, bullying or harassment
  • Sharing of an event registration or visitor pass
  • Making event content available to unregistered third parties.
  • Failure on the part of any individual to conduct themselves in a professional manner
  • Failure to follow any of the rules, regulations, directions or instructions as set out by the organisers
  • Any other (illegal or not) activity deemed to be inappropriate, cause anxiety or anguish

Consequences of unacceptable behaviour

The organisers of this S&P 2023 adopt a zero-policy approach to unacceptable behaviour. Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated and could result in debarment from current and/or any future events with the organisers taking appropriate action, up to and including expulsion from the event without warning or refund along with the appropriate authorities being notified.
