With just under two weeks to go to Security & Policing 2021, set to be held online for the first time between 9-11 March, 2021, we have produced a Top 10 Tips video for approved visitors to watch ahead of logging into the event platform.

Top 10 Tips for Visitors
- Test your system set up for optimum performance
- Create your profile and review the Code of Conduct
- Ensure the screen resolution is correct for your own device
- Login and update your current status
- Visit the Auditorium to view sessions agenda and add to your briefcase
- Visit and search the Exhibition Hall, view and save materials and chat with exhibitors
- Network with peers and Government via private chat and video calls
- Visit the Government Zone (need to re-record)
- Visit the JSaRC Industry Showcase (need to record)

Accessing the event
All approved visitors will be sent an access link to the online event platform login page ahead of Tuesday 2 March in order to setup your online visitor account.
Please note your access is for a single user only and you MUST use the email address that you registered with during the approval process, as this is the address that is whitelisted to give you access on the platform.
Once registered and logged in you will have a week prior to the event to access and familiarise yourself with the platform ahead of the event commencing on Tuesday 9 March.
When registering your user account you will be asked for your areas of interest to aid networking and search functionality in the event. You will also have the option to upload a profile image, we encourage visitors to upload a photograph of themselves where possible.
Please also review our Code of Conduct with some simple housekeeping guidelines to ensure everyone has an enjoyable, respectful and successful online experience.
Event Features
Security & Policing presents the ideal setting to learn about the innovation, policies and equipment available to respond to the latest and future security challenges and threats. This year in response to the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and continuing to evolve security and policing through innovation, Security & Policing will be centred around three core themes of Resilience, Recovery and Rebuild.

Event Opening Times
Security & Policing online is available to login and access 24/7 once you have access to the platform.
There will however, be core event operating hours where keynotes and content will be scheduled, exhibitor stands and key event areas will be staffed. These are as follows.
- Tuesday 9 March 2021 09:00 – 16:30 GMT
- Wednesday 10 March 2021 09:00 – 16:30 GMT
- Thursday 11 March 2021 09:00 – 16:30 GMT
Outside of these times all the online event functionality remains. The exhibition hall and stands will remain open and chats, meetings and calls can still occur outside these core hours to facilitate meetings for international visitors.
Once content sessions have aired in the auditorium, they will be made available to watch back on-demand for visitors who may have missed them or for international visitors attending in different time zones.

Not registered?
If you haven’t registered to attend this year’s event there is still time to register. Security & Policing 2021 remains a closed event, with all visitors subject to Home Office approval. Visitors who meet the visitor criteria can apply to register for their free online now.
