Home Office Homeland Security Group Science and Technology (HSG S&T) ensures that priority S&T is commissioned to enable HSG to achieve its mission to reduce national security risk to the UK’s people, freedoms and prosperity. The S&T is focused on the highest harm risks to the homeland, whether from terrorists, state actors, or cyber and economic criminals and engages across Government and internationally to maximise the communities effort. The S&T team provide advice and supports the development of operational technologies using an interdisciplinary approach across Data and Digital, Behavioural and Social Sciences, Futures & Insights, and Physical and Biological Science.
