UM Labs is a UK based R&D group with the mission to design and develop real-time communications data in transit cybersecurity, covering the core and EDGE.  The technology (UNICUS) is in use in the defence industry for securing data in transit (voice, video, streaming, RTC messaging) across the OSI-7-Layers and has been deployed by organisations in government and defence sectors. In collaboration, UNICUS SVSS has been extended from UNICUS UOS to protect streaming video services from EGDE surveillance cameras, including drone mounted cameras, and body-worn cameras. The intelligent security controls defend against multi-level attacks using AI/ML inclusive of Hijacking, Denial of Service, Media Injection attacks and all unauthorised interception and monitoring. This development uses up to Quantum Cryptography (NIST List),  and is  supported by the UK Government’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory.
