If you need to trust your data, you need to trust the device that provides it. 

Devices connected onto a network are vulnerable to a range of attacks which encryption of the data does not defend against. Spoofing, man-in-the-middle, device overtake and replay attacks are some of the potential threats. To protect against such threats requires robust device identities in a Zero Trust network. A Zero Trust network means all devices in the network always assume all other devices are untrustworthy, until the identity and the message can be authenticated.

ANGOKA provides a low cost Zero Trust network for machine to machine communication based on unique device identities.

ANGOKA generates unique identities for each device based from characteristics of the device itself. These are used in a symmetric key exchange to enable devices connected into the network to identity and authenticate each other. Our key exchange is automatic, decentralised and dynamic, providing a high level of security assurance even against quantum computing. 

ANGOKA secure the device, not the network. This means we are network agnostic and able to work over any available communications link. 

Our current security related projects  focus on securing connections for drones, autonomous vehicles, smart sensors, and communications.

ANGOKA is an alumnus of the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Centre’s Cyber Accelerator, Seraphim Space Camp, Yes!Delft, TechNation Cyber 2.0 and Plug & Play’s Smart Cities programme (Mobility vertical). At InfoSec 2023, ANGOKA was named the UK’s Most Innovative Cyber Security SME.
