Leafield is the sole UK distributor of Genasys’ Long Range Acoustic Devices (LRAD). LRAD produce a focused hailing capability, clearly intelligible out to 5 kilometres on larger devices. They are ruggedized, waterproof and suitable for use in challenging environments. The range of devices allows for man portability or fitting to vehicles, helicopters, ships and fixed installations.  In the US, our devices are fitted to all Naval Surface Combatants and used extensively in the US Army. The devices are also used in the Armed Forces, Emergency Services, and Civil Protection organisations across the World.

Leafield also provides a wide range of cost effective marine engineering and inventory management solutions. We are experts in marine gas turbine engine changes and support, controllable pitch propellor work, sonar upgrades and a wide variety of other engineering tasks. The company also provide solutions for managing the challenges of running on obsolescent equipment. Leafield has held the Royal Navy’s contract for disposals of it equipment and spares since 1992.
